Permanent site-based Finance leadership opportunities across QLD & NSW Key operational finance roles supporting Site Leadership Teams Attractive salary packages with bonus, allowances and relocation support available About the Opportunities: Stellar Recruitment is currently partnering with several well-established mining operations across Queensland and New South Wales who are seeking experienced site-based finance professionals to join their leadership teams. These roles sit just below Commercial Manager level and will suit experienced Commercial Superintendents, Finance Managers, or high-performing Senior Mine Accountants ready to step into a broader leadership capacity. Based on site, you will play a key role in supporting the General Manager and wider Site Leadership Team, overseeing the day-to-day financial function while providing commercial insight to drive operational performance. You will lead small teams and take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, reporting, and compliance across the operation. These positions require individuals who are comfortable in a hands-on environment and confident partnering with operational teams. What you will need: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Commerce, with CA or CPA qualification highly regarded. Proven experience operating in a finance/commercial capacity on a mine site. Demonstrated oversight of site financial reporting, budgeting and cost management. Experience leading small site-based finance or administration teams. Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence operational leaders. Advanced Excel capability; exposure to SAP or large ERP systems will be well regarded.
